Gloria is the proud owner of a funeral home/mortuary. After being married to Louis for 25 wonderful years, she feels like she has more years of experience in the industry than her resume would show. The Salazar family has been in the funeral industry since the early 1900′s and so he has been raised in the business just as his own children have. At Reflections, Louis and Gloria serve families that God has brought into their lives.
The stories of dead bodies continue to be fodder for news. Dead bodies are just way too provocative. I hate it because behind every body is a family that is torn with grief and opening the wounds of a death is never easy. I say “Pray for Mrs. Steven.”
I pulled this from your post about the lonely woman who disinterred her relatives. Gloria, I have never met you but the point you make here tells me that you are a wonderful funeral director. Every death is a terrible loss and should never be reduced to a newsworthy commodity. We should pray for Mrs. Steven but we should pray even more for news outlets who capitalize on these sad situations.
